| Run Away (Quealy)
Every time we get this far, we look back and, without good reason
Toss away anything we worked so hard to gain
I can see a pattern here and predict it like a changing season
Ain’t it time we broke the mold and ran against the grain
Maybe we don’t have to run away
Maybe we can stay here still and find a better way
Sure there’ll be a price we’ll have to pay
But we don’t have to run away
Deep inside the tunnels of my mind, is a guy, who wants to bury
Any treasure we might hope to ever find
Gotta’ get that old map back and try to get this train on track
Make that final destination on time
Maybe we don’t have to run away
Maybe we can stay here still and find a better way
Sure there’ll be a price we’ll have to pay
But we don’t have to run away
This whole thing puzzles me
Is it that we need to strive in vain
Or is it all just meant to be
The hands and feet of fate that drive the pain
Every time we come this far, we get lost in our own confusion
Running from the demons we fear
Pick up our feet like a windy gust, kicking up a cloud of dust
When that smoky fog begins to clear
It’s very clear
Maybe we don’t have to run away
